General Ticketing Information

Passengers will have the option to purchase tickets in one of three historic 1949 railcars that have been meticulously restored. Each car has a different interior layout and capacity - it is recommended that you visit our railcars page to familiarize yourself with each car prior to purchasing your ticket.

Some additional notes on railcar configurations with regards to ticketing:

  • Catalpa Falls - The Catalpa Falls will seat 10 people in the lounge (excluding the table area) and 12 people in the bedrooms (two per room). Table areas will be open to all passengers when not in use for meal service.

  • Colonial Crafts - The Colonial Crafts will seat 16 people in the lounge (excluding the table area), 6 people in the bedrooms (two per room), and 3 people in the drawing room. Table areas will be open to all passengers when not in use for meal service.

  • Frank Thomson - The Frank Thomson will seat 6 people in the mid-car lounge area (excluding the tables) and 10 in the observation lounge. The 10 lounge seats in the observation lounge will be rotated throughout the trip by Broadway Limited staff. During the Horseshoe Curve portions of the eastbound and westbound trips, the occupants of the observation lounge will be decided by lottery. Table areas will be open to all passengers when not in use for meal service. The Frank Thomson’s bedrooms are reserved for Broadway Limited crew and will not be available for passengers.
